Ō Mātou Tāngata Our People

Heather Walker Ngati Porou

Following many years working as a Recruiter in startup and large corporate, global organisations, Heather founded Mana Recruitment in 2008. She envisioned an Aotearoa where a cultural worldview is embraced and actively encouraged in all organisations.

What is good for Māori is good for everyone.

“We provide a culturally appropriate experience and oversight for all candidates and clients who interact with Mana Recruitment to ensure the experience for everyone, regardless of whether they are successful or not, is ‘mana enhancing’. We handle all approaches to individuals and their wider connections with confidentiality and respect. It is the tikanga behind what we do and how we do it that we believe is our point of difference.”

Dave Kaire Ngā Puhi
